And loving a dog — especially one who's anxious, reactive, fearful, rescued, senior, or medically complex — means being willing to understand life from their perspective.

I don't expect every dog to behave the same way or trust me immediately. I meet the dog in front of me, pay attention to what they're communicating, and let trust build at their own pace. Your dog doesn't have to be easy to deserve extraordinary care — they deserve to be understood.

Doggywalkie is intentionally a single-caregiver service. No rotating employees, no unfamiliar sitters — from your first meet & greet onward, it's always me. For an anxious or sensitive dog, that consistency isn't a nice-to-have, it's the whole point.
