For pets who are anxious, sensitive or medically complex, familiarity matters. Instead of rotating between multiple sitters, your pets have one consistent caregiver who can learn their body language, routines, triggers, preferences and what is normal for them. That continuity also makes it easier to notice when something seems different.

Starting at $150/night

 

Rates are customized based on your pets’ routine, number of animals, time comfortably left alone, medications, behavior, supervision needs, location and level of specialized care required.

The goal is to create a care plan that realistically reflects what your pets need while you’re away.

 

Holiday House Sitting in Portland

Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s Pet Care

Holiday travel doesn't have to mean disrupting your pets’ entire world. Private holiday house sitting allows them to stay home with their familiar routines, sleeping spaces and surroundings while you travel.

 

A 25% peak holiday rate applies to house sitting and boarding reservations November 21–29 and December 19–January 2.

Holiday availability is limited and advance reservations are strongly recommended.

 

Serving Portland & Southwest Washington

Doggywalkie is based in North Portland, with house sitting available throughout the Portland metro and select Southwest Washington communities. Extended service may be available in Lake Oswego, West Linn, Tigard, Vancouver, Camas, Salem and surrounding areas.

Availability for longer-distance stays depends on travel time, scheduling and your pets’ individual care needs. Dogs who are comfortable around other dogs may allow for greater scheduling flexibility.​ Additional travel fees may apply.

It Starts With Meeting Them

Before your first house sitting stay, we'll schedule a Meet & Greet in your home. This gives your pets an opportunity to meet me somewhere familiar while we review routines, behavior, medications, home access, emergency information and anything else I should know before you leave.
