Dachshund Fun Facts!

Dachshunds may be little, but their hunting heritage makes them curious, determined and surprisingly adventurous. Beneath those adorable floppy ears is an intelligent, independent dog who thrives on sniffing, exploring and mental stimulation.

What's not to love about a dachshund? From their cute little feet to their openly expressive personality, they are the perfect little companion to add to your busy family dynamic.
Despite their small stature, they are pretty head strong. If they don't feel like walking, most likely you will meet resistance so you better bring the best treats!

You have to be careful not to exercise them too much though and be vigilant about their jumping off tall places because their backs are prone to injury. 

The very first dachshund I cared for was in Chico, CA for a local dentist who was a regular at the bank I worked at while I was pursuing my bachelor's degree. I wonder what software I was using then, where could those photos be? 🤔
