Your Pet, Loved Like Family

I’m Adriana, the heart and hands behind Doggywalkie. I know how stressful it can be to leave a beloved pet — whether it’s for work, travel, or just a little time away. You know your pet best: their quirks, moods, and little comforts. Leaving them with someone else can stir worry, guilt, or anxiety. That’s where I come in.

Every visit with Doggywalkie is personal and attentive. I don’t just feed, walk, or check in — I tune into your pet’s personality, moods, and little comforts, providing calm, one-on-one attention that feels familiar and safe. Whether it’s a walk, a check-in, an overnight stay, or a special adventure, your pet receives care designed just for them — and you get the peace of mind of knowing they’re happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away.

A Lifelong Connection to Animals

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent hours at the library reading every book I could find about dogs — encyclopedias, breed guides, everything. I was fascinated by how each dog is unique: their looks, coloring, temperament, and health. That curiosity built the foundation for a deep understanding of animals, paired with my natural emotional intelligence and positive energy.

Even as a kid, I couldn’t resist helping animals. I’d come home covered in rashes from playing outside with kittens I found in the neighborhood — I’d baby them instead of playing with my friends! Luckily, I’m not allergic anymore, but that love for cats has never faded. I’ve also formed meaningful connections with birds, guinea pigs, geckos, and more. I firmly believe that soul connections with animals aren’t species-specific. As someone once said, “Dogs do speak — but only to those who listen.” I’ve learned to listen, and the bonds I form with animals are the heart of everything I do.

Why I Started Doggywalkie

Doggywalkie began from a very personal experience. When I had to leave my college pup, Brodie, for a trip, the person I’d arranged to care for him fell through at the last minute. I was already anxious and worried — leaving him felt unbearable. Eventually, I found a provider, but Brodie was placed with over 30 other dogs at once. While I knew he would be safe, I couldn’t shake my anxiety.

Brodie came back with a few scratches that weren't communicated to me but the hardest part was the lack of promised updates.  I didn’t hear from her until the next day. I am someone who constantly photographs and celebrates the things I love — and that includes pets. My clients’ animals are my family, and I wanted to create a service that not only keeps pets safe and happy, but also gives their owners peace of mind, calm, and joy while they’re away. Doggywalkie is my way of making sure that every pet and parent experiences care that is attentive, consistent, and full of love.

My Approach & Philosophy

At the center of everything I do is love — love for animals, love for people, and respect for the relationships built through this work. The connections formed through Doggywalkie often go far beyond a service. Clients and I often form lifelong bonds because we share something meaningful: trust, care, and a mutual love for the animals who matter most to us.

I value not only the bond I build with each pet, but the trust and respect shared with their humans. My goal is always to help clients feel at ease, reassured, and cared for. I approach each visit intuitively, adapting to what your pet needs in that moment so both you and your animal feel supported, understood, and genuinely looked after.

What Sets Me Apart

Doggywalkie is a solo practice by choice, and it will remain that way. This work isn’t just what I do — it nourishes me. Caring for animals soothes and heals my soul, and I feel incredibly grateful to do this every day. Because of that, I show up fully present, with joy and intention, for every single pet.

I have a natural ability to read an animal’s body language, energy, and emotional state, and I treat every pet as an individual. I adjust care based on how they’re feeling rather than following a rigid routine. If a dog needs movement one day and quiet companionship the next, I adapt. If a cat wants space instead of play, I honor that. Each pet is treated like a guest of honor, because caring for them is a privilege, not a task.

A Personal Touch

I carry what people often describe as high, positive energy, something I’ve had since childhood. I’m intentional about how I care for my own energy, often through music and reflection, so I can bring a calm, grounded presence into every home I enter.

Animals sense this energy. Clients often tell me, “They never do that with strangers,” and those moments never stop humbling me. I see them as gifts — gentle reminders that connection, when it’s genuine, is felt without words. Being trusted in this way brings me joy, and I never take it for granted.

My Promise

Your pets are cherished. Your trust is sacred. My goal is to make sure that every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for, and that you feel calm, reassured, and happy knowing they’re in good hands. At Doggywalkie, it’s not just care — it’s a connection, a bond, and a shared love for the animals who make our lives richer.
