I know firsthand how hard it is to trust someone with a pet who needs extra patience, understanding or specialized care. It’s a huge part of why Doggywalkie exists.

As pet parents, we sometimes stop traveling or taking time for ourselves because we don’t want to inconvenience anyone—and because we’re afraid someone else simply won’t have the patience we do.

​

But caring for a higher-needs pet can be stressful, and sometimes we need that reset even more. I’ve been there. I understand the guilt, worry and endless “what ifs”—and I have that extra patience. My heart just naturally makes me want to give them even more of me.
